Wat Pho Rattanaram or Wat Pho Khu | Ratchaburi
The stainless steel chapel is the second chapel made of stainless steel in Thailand (the first chapel was at Wat Pa Lam Kha Khaeng in Kanchanaburi Province). The renovation was done by covering the original chapel made of cement with stainless steel. Another important thing is the Buddha statue in the Palilayok posture, in a seated position with both feet on lotus flowers and both hands placed face down on the knees on either side of the Buddha statue. On one side is an elephant kneeling with its trunk raised, holding a bamboo tube filled with water. On the other side is a monkey offering a honeycomb.
