Kanchanaburi City - Travel guide

Kanchanaburi is a town known for the World War II Death Railway bridge across the River Kwai, as well as for its national parks, museums, historic buildings and natural wonders. The famed Bridge was the subject of an iconic Hollywood film. Just steps away, the Death Railway Museum showcases local military history, while the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery commemorates Burmese POWs who died building the railway.
