Wat Silver Temple or Wat Sri Suphan Temple

Located on Wualai Road, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, built during the reign of King Mueang Kaew, King of Chiang Mai and Queen Siriyasawadee, the Queen Mother of the Royal Consort.
His Majesty ordered a minister named Chao Muen Luang Cha Kham to build a temple named "Wat Sri Suphan Aram", later shortened to "Wat Sri Suphan".
Wat Sri Suphan is located in the Wualai community, which is a famous silver handicraft community in Chiang Mai Province. The villagers, both the temple and the community, joined forces to renovate the base and boundary of the original chapel, which was dilapidated.
It is a new Lanna-style silver chapel, made of silver metal, both inside and outside the chapel, decorated with exquisite and magnificent silver handicrafts in the Lanna style.
According to the stone inscription of Wat Sri Suphan, in the year 2043, King Pilokpanadda Thirat Or Phra Muang Kaew, the king of Chiang Mai in the Mangrai Dynasty
