Tourist Attractions: Huap Tad Cave (Huap Tad Cave) | Uthai Thani

Huai Pa Tad, Tham Pratun Wildlife Sanctuary, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation
Huai Pa Tad is a unique tourist attraction featuring a large limestone cave that visitors must walk through to admire the ancient forest hidden within. This limestone mountain is estimated to be 245-286 million years old. Eroded by rainwater, it gradually eroded through the cracks in the rock, creating a large cave within the mountain (a process that takes hundreds of thousands of years). Over time, the cave ceiling collapsed, causing vegetation above to fall, and the forest within the cave was born.
Hui Pa Tad is a remarkable natural attraction, an Unseen Thailand, located in Thung Na Ngam Subdistrict, Lan Sak District, Uthai Thani Province. It is under the care of the Tham Pratun Wildlife Sanctuary. A distinctive and unique feature of Huai Pa Tad is its geological uniqueness. It was once a large limestone cave, but over time, the ceiling collapsed, creating a valley or chimney in the middle of the mountain. The entrance is a small tunnel that must be entered through. Upon exiting, You'll encounter a completely different world: the Lost World.
The valley's atmosphere resembles a prehistoric forest, surrounded by steep limestone cliffs. A variety of rare and ancient plants can be found, such as the tara tree (hence the name), an ancient palm, the turtle tree, the celandine, and the pink dragon millipede.
The Lost World Valley is the only habitat in Thailand for the "pink dragon millipede," which appears during the late rainy season and early winter (November - December).
Stalactites and stalagmites: Although the cave roof has collapsed, However, the entrance and some parts of the cave walls still contain unusually shaped stalactites and stalagmites, which can be admired along the approximately 700-meter nature trail.
