Wat Ratchaburana, a Royal Temple in Phitsanulok | Phitsanulok Wat Ratchaburana is located in Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province, near Wat Phra Si Mahathat Woramahawihan. It features the Chedi Luang, a circular, Sri Lankan-style pagoda standing on an octagonal base with multiple layers, surrounded by smaller pagodas. It is visible from across the Loei River. The main chapel is located near the scripture hall, and inside are murals depicting scenes from the Ramakien. The main hall is a brick and mortar building with nine rooms, showcasing Sukhothai architecture. Inside, there are round laterite pillars and a stucco Buddha image in the Maravijaya posture, in the Sukhothai style, as the principal Buddha image.
