Khlong Suan 100 Year Market is an ancient market community along the Bang Pakong River in Chachoengsao Province, over 100 years old, dating back to the reign of King Rama V. It's nổi bật with the charm of old wooden shophouses, a collection of traditional savory and sweet foods, and a classic atmosphere, perfect for foodies and those who enjoy taking vintage-style photos.
The houses within the market are very vintage and classic, retaining their ancient and original charm, making for beautiful photo opportunities. Some houses have been renovated and adapted to modern times, but still retain their original structure, creating a truly classic feel.
Location: Talat Ban Mai Rd., Na Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Chachoengsao District Opening Hours: Open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Getting there from Samut Prakan: You can drive your own car via Bang Na-Trat Road or the Motorway. (Expressway No. 7) Travel time is approximately 1-1.5 hours (distance approximately 70-80 kilometers).
Riverside Restaurants: There are many noodle shops and local food stalls, such as traditional pork noodles, steamed rice noodle rolls, and fried oysters. Traditional Thai Desserts: Hard to find elsewhere, such as Khanom Jak, Khanom Kon Thua, and other traditional Thai sweets, as well as herbal drinks. Classic Photo Spots: Experience the riverside lifestyle and the architecture of two-story wooden shophouses.
Parking Across from the Market: There is a private parking lot across the road from the market. The fee is approximately 30-40 baht.
Under the Railway Bridge: Drive a little further past the market and there is a parking lot under the Bang Pakong railway bridge.
