Built in 1074, it enshrines the relics of Phra Sariputta and Phra Moggallana, disciples of the Lord Buddha. With its age of over a thousand years, this temple has gone through many eras. The architecture here has been influenced by various cultures. There are beautiful stucco carvings and the most outstanding is the authentic Hariphunchai art.
Such as Phra Wihan Phra Khong Khiao or Phra Wihan Phuttarat Maha Nathi Si Hariphunchai, which has beautiful stucco carvings in the temple. Even the gable corners, ceilings on various sides of the roof, and the pillars of the temple are carved, lacquered, and gilded. The pillars are made of golden teak and red wood from Laos, Burma, and Thailand. It is a combination of the old and the new.
