Pay homage to Luang Por Saeng Phet, admire the stucco arch in the shape of a fan, Wat Thong Nopkhun, an ancient temple in the Khlong San district of Bangkok.
Wat Thong Nopkhun History of Wat Thong Nopkhun, a royal temple, was built in the late Ayutthaya period. It was originally called "Wat Thong Lang". Later, during the reign of King Rama III, Phraya Choduk Ratchasetthi or Thongchin Krairiksh restored the temple and offered it to be a royal temple. The temple was granted the name 'Wat Thong Nopkhun' until today.
1. Pay homage and ask for blessings from Luang Por Saeng Phet, a beautiful and sacred Buddha image.
2. Pay homage and ask for blessings from the principal Buddha image, a Buddha image molded in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, built during the Rattanakosin period. The name of the Buddha is unknown. It is enshrined in the ordination hall.
3. Come and admire the beauty of the stucco arch in the shape of a fan, with circular windows resembling the fan of a monk of the royal rank. The two crown-shaped windows on each side are beautiful works of art. The Association of Siamese Architects has voted that this is the most valuable historical art of Bangkok in the past 200 years. Written by Phra Khru Kasin Sangwon, a disciple of Khrua In Khong.
4. Visiting a large model of a junk ship from the early Rattanakosin period. It is said that a wealthy man prayed to Phra Chao Sutham Sangwon Thera to save him from a water leak into his ship, causing the port to sink in the middle of the sea. After he safely returned, he built a junk ship and offered it to Wat Thong Nop Khun.
5. Pay homage to Luang Pho Saeng Phet, admiring the stucco arch in the shape of a fan of honor at Wat Thong Nop Khun, an ancient temple in the Khlong San district of Bangkok. For me, I was very impressed by this trip and felt very good about myself that I got to pay homage to Luang Pho Saeng Phet. Take beautiful pictures, feel full of merit, be happy
