Kaeng Krachan National Park, which spans two provinces: Nong Ya Plong and Kaeng Krachan Districts in Phetchaburi Province and Hua Hin District in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is the headwaters of the Phetchaburi and Pranburi Rivers. It boasts a rich and diverse natural environment, including lakes, waterfalls, caves, and beautiful cliffs. Khao Phanom Thung,
is a grassland and rainforest, offering stunning views of the forest and mountains, and a dense sea of ​​mist that forms during late rainy season and into winter. There are two tourist attractions: the Khao Phanom Thung viewpoint and the summit of Khao Phanom Thung.
You must contact the park's visitor center at least one day in advance and wait for a permit. You can drive up Khao Phanom Thung yourself, but we recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle with good performance, as the road is quite steep. For those who prefer not to drive, contact the visitor center to arrange a rental car. Kaeng Krachan National Park permits vehicles up at two times.

At Khao Phanom Thung, a viewpoint for viewing the sea of ​​mist and sunrise: This viewpoint is approximately 900 meters above sea level.
You can witness the dense sea of ​​mist from late rainy season to early winter (around October - February).
It is also a beautiful sunrise viewing point. Camping.
On the mountaintop, there is a wide open area with complete facilities, perfect for overnight stays to enjoy the cool weather.
Year-round Natural Diversity: Khao Phanom Thung is characterized by grasslands and lush rainforests. During your journey, you'll experience the cold and may even hear the sounds of wildlife such as gibbons or see flocks of butterflies during the butterfly migration season (late rainy season, early winter).

Travel and opening hours: The route up Khao Phanom Thung is quite narrow and one-way. (Passing cars are prohibited.)
Therefore, the park has restricted the times for ascending and descending as follows: Morning (for viewing the sea of ​​mist)
