Locals like to call it Wat Phra Khao because this temple has a large white Buddha statue in the blessing posture, called Phra Phuttha Sakon Sima Mongkhon or Luang Pho Khao.
It is a Buddha statue located 112 meters above the ground, representing the 56 virtues of the Buddha. The Buddha statue is 45 meters high, representing the 45 years of the Buddha's ordination.
