Wat Klai Kangwon or Wat Khao Saraphatdee Sri Charoentham | Chainat
This is a public temple belonging to the Mahanikaya sect, located on Khao Sarapatdi, surrounded by mountains and beautiful natural surroundings on all four sides. This temple was likely built during the Lopburi period, around 1002 CE, or over 1,500 years ago, as evidenced by evidence from the nearby area.
Located in Hankha District, Chai Nat Province This ancient temple has been restored. Highlights include a replica of the Crystal Cave, adorned with sparkling lights, a Buddha footprint, a stupa containing the relics of the Lord Buddha on the mountaintop, and an open zoo home to wildlife such as deer, barking deer, and peacocks. The temple is also a place for meditation and offers 360-degree views of the beautiful natural surroundings.

Location: Ban Chian, Hankha District, Chainat Province
History: This ancient temple from the Lopburi period was abandoned before World War II and has since been renovated.

Replica of the Crystal Cave: A beautifully constructed replica, the cave walls sparkle as if made of diamonds.
Footprint of the Lord Buddha: Enshrined in the replica of the Crystal Cave, visitors can pay their respects and make wishes.
Replica of the Holy Relic Stupa: Located atop the replica of the Crystal Cave. You can walk up to pay homage and enjoy a 360-degree view.
Open Zoo: Deer, barking deer, peacocks, and other wildlife are raised for visitors to observe and feed.
Atmosphere: Quiet, shady, and far from the hustle and bustle, ideal for meditation and spiritual relaxation.
Opening Hours and Admission Fee
Opening Hours: The temple gates are open from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The area on Khao Sarapatdee is open from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM.
Admission Fee: Free. Donations can be made according to your faith.
