Hup Pa Tat , Lan Sak District | Uthai Thani Province

Hup Pa Tat , Lan Sak District | Uthai Thani Province
Huap Pa Tad is a valley surrounded by limestone mountains. It used to be a large cave, but the ceiling collapsed, creating a wide valley with sunlight only reaching it during the day. Inside, Huaap Pa Tad resembles a rainforest, with numerous rare palm trees. Rare wildlife such as the tardigrade turtle and the pink dragon millipede have also been found.
Huap Pa Tad was discovered by Phra Khru Santithamkoson (Luang Pho Thong Yod), the abbot of Tham Thong Temple, in 1979. The mountain was later blasted to create a path into the valley.
