Wat Phongsunan, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District | Phrae Province
Wat Phongsunan, a beautiful temple in Phrae city, stands out with a golden reclining Buddha enshrined on the wall. It was originally an abandoned temple called Wat Pongsanuk until 1929. In the chapel is the enshrined Phra Chao Saensuk, a 568-year-old Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude. There is also the Wihan Kaeo Phra That Chedi 108 Yod, which has 108 chedis in total, another symbol of Wat Phongsunan.
