Wat Sri Rong Mueang Temple In the city | Lampang
Wat Sri Rong Muang is a temple built on the side of Tha Khao Noi Road, which is one of the five main roads leading straight from the Clock Tower Intersection. It was built during the reign of King Rama V by a Burmese tycoon as a Buddhist offering.
This temple features Burmese art and was built by Burmese craftsmen from Mandalay, taking seven years to build. The main chapel is made of teakwood with a gable roof and nine spires.
Tourists who are religious should not miss this. After you have finished praying, it is time to walk around and admire the beauty of this chapel, which is divided by its outstanding features: the ceiling and the pillars.
