This viewpoint is part of Wat Khong Chiam, where you can pay homage to a large golden Buddha statue in the Mara Vijaya posture, facing the river. The Two-Colored River at Khong Chiam, Ubon Ratchathani, is a natural phenomenon where two rivers meet, creating a contrasting color of the water between the Mun River and the Mekong River, giving rise to the name "Khong Si Cement, Mun Si Indigo."
The two-colored river can now be seen along the banks of Wat Khong Chiam and at Huai Mak Village. Tourists can also take a boat ride to enjoy the scenery along the Mekong River.
Its highlight is the confluence of the Mekong and Mun Rivers, where the contrast in water color is evident. During the rainy season (May-October) when the water level is high, the "Cement-colored Mekong and Indigo-colored Mun" is clearly visible.
