Wat Nong Hu Ling | Maha Sarakham Province

This temple is a beautiful and striking sight, with its ordination hall shaped like an Ananta Naga boat, designed by the abbot, Phra Khru Bowonthammakhun. Its shape is distinct from other temples in Maha Sarakham, representing the boat-shaped ordination hall, symbolizing the boat of merit.
The temple also features Buddhist mysteries hidden in various corners of the ordination hall. For example, the entrance to the ordination hall is in four directions, representing the Four Noble Truths. The principal Buddha image enshrined inside the ordination hall is in the posture of delivering the first sermon, intended for those entering the ordination hall. It's like listening to the Buddha's teachings.
