The Mekong River is wide and stretches parallel to both sides of Thailand and Laos, with a large mountain, Phu Kwai Ngern, as a beautiful backdrop.
Kaeng Khut Khu is a beautiful viewpoint along the Mekong River near Chiang Khan, Loei Province. It is a large rocky rapid in the middle of the river that creates an impressive natural scene in both the dry and rainy seasons.

Walk / sit and enjoy the view along the river
Ride a long-tailed boat to see the river on both sides of Thailand and Laos.
