Phra That Yaku is a stupa from the Dvaravati period, built during the 13th-15th Buddhist centuries, but has decayed over time. Later, during the Ayutthaya period, an octagonal stupa was built instead, built with brick and mortar on top of the original base. During the Rattanakosin period, the top was extended to be even higher.
