Mrigadayavan Palace
is another tourist attraction that is famous as a check-in point and is famous for taking beautiful photos. This is a seaside palace built during the reign of King Rama VI (in 1923). It is an Italian-style architecture and is made entirely of golden teak.
King Rama VI built it between 1923 and 1924
by Ercole Manfredi, an Italian architect. The palace complex has a Thai-Western architectural style. Golden teak is used throughout the building, raised under reinforced concrete piers above the beach.
Sawakamat Hall is an open-air two-story building used as a meeting place on various occasions and as a theater, which has staged two important plays: Phra Ruang and Wiwa Phra Samut. In 1941, Chao Phraya Ramrakhop built a statue of King Rama VI. Dedicated as a royal memorial, enshrined at the Royal Palace of Mrigadayavan and a royal merit-making ceremony is held annually on the anniversary of his passing on November 25. Mom Luang Phumjai Chumphon designed the garden, which was inspired by the royal compositions of King Rama VI. There are various gardens as follows: Venice Vanich Garden, designed in the Renaissance style, located at the front of the palace area as a meeting point, similar to Venice, which was a trading center. Sakuntala Garden uses various types of pine trees as a wall around the garden. The area inside the garden is used as a stage for performances. Matana Phatha Garden is decorated with dense rows of Khoi trees, which can withstand the sun and sea breeze.
