Wat Phra Phuttha Saiyas (Wat Phra Non) is an ancient temple on the southeastern foothills of Khao Wang. It is believed to have been built during the Ayutthaya period to house the Reclining Buddha, a large reclining Buddha over 400 years old. Later, during the reign of King Rama IV, noticing the deterioration of the Buddha image, he ordered the construction of a viharn over it, transforming it into the Viharn Phra Phuttha Saiyas as seen today.
The large reclining Buddha measures 43 meters long and 15 meters high from the base, making it the fourth largest reclining Buddha in Thailand. It is constructed entirely of brick and beautifully lacquered and gilded. It is believed that paying homage to it will bring prosperity.

Reclining Buddha:
It is approximately 43 meters long.
The height from the Buddha's head to the base of the bed is approximately 15 meters.
It was originally built outdoors before a viharn was later built over it.

Located at the foot of a hill to the southeast of Khao Wang (Phra Nakhon Khiri).
Getting there: Access: From Phetkasem Road, turn into Phetchaburi City, then onto Khirirat Road. Pass the Khao Wang entrance for approximately 300 meters. The temple is on the right.
Opening Hours: Generally open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
