This is a beautiful temple and an important place of worship in Mukdahan Province. Located on Phu Manorom Hill, the temple houses a large Buddha image, "Phra Chao Yai Kaew Mukda Sri Trairat," and a large Naga, "Phra Sri Mukda Mahamuni Nilpal Naga Raja." It also serves as a viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Mukdahan City, the Mekong River, and Savannakhet Province in Laos.
From the top of Phu Manorom Hill, visitors can clearly see the panoramic view of Mukdahan Province, the Mekong River, and Savannakhet Province in Laos. Pay homage to the 60-meter-tall Phra Chao Yai Kaew Mukda Sri Trairat, enshrined on the mountaintop, and visit the Phraya Sri Mukda Mahamuni Nilpal Naga Raja, or "Pu Sri Mukda," a giant Naga statue standing majestically above the Mekong River, stands 20 meters tall and 122 meters long. Pu Sri Mukda is believed to have long protected the people living along the Mekong River.

Phra Chao Yai Kaew Mukda Sri Trairat: A large Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture, 39.99 meters wide at the lap, 59.99 meters high, and 84 meters tall from base to head. Phra Sri Mukda Mahamuni Nilpal Naga: A large Naga statue, 122 meters long and 20 meters high.

You can drive up to the statue. Or use the temple's songthaew service during limited hours.
