Mae Fah Luang Garden is located in front of Doi Tung Palace. It is a garden of cold-weather flowers such as salvia, petunias, begonias, roses, trumpet flowers, auspicious plants, perennials, and more than 70 types of climbing plants. Sculptures by Mr. Misiam Yib-In-Soi
The Hall of Inspiration is an exhibition building that tells the story of how each member of the Mahidol Royal Family has inspired one another. The stories reflect the work philosophy and the work resulting from the long-term vision of the five members that have improved the lives of Thai people. There are 7 exhibition rooms inside.
Doi Chang Moob Stupa and Mae Fah Luang Arboretum are located on Doi Chang Moob, along Phra That Doi Tung Road. It is the highest viewpoint on Doi Tung. Mae Fah Luang Arboretum is a collection of rare plant species for conservation, including wild orchids such as Dendrobium, Dendrobium Ngern, Mon Khai, and many species of thousand-year roses from many countries that are hard to find. In front of the entrance to the arboretum, there is a small stupa called The “Elephant Mob Stupa” is about 3 meters high and sits on a large rock, resembling a kneeling elephant.
Admission fees: 220 baht for a combined ticket for 4 attractions: Doi Tung Palace, Mae Fah Luang Garden, Hall of Inspiration, and Mae Fah Luang Arboretum; 110 baht for students, senior citizens aged 60 and over, and monks; 90 baht for individual tickets.
Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
