Arts Gallery at Ban Chao Phraya , Phra Athit Road | Bangkok

Art Gallery at Ban Chao Phraya is located on Phra Athit Road, next to Santi Chai Prakan Park. A little further is Phra Sumen Fort.
Open Wednesday - Monday (closed every Tuesday and public holidays) from 10.00 - 18.00. Most importantly, admission is free.
Art Gallery at Ban Chao Phraya was founded in 1916 by King Rama VI, who granted the palace and this land to His Royal Highness Prince Kamrob, formerly known as Mom Chao Kamrob Pramoj (later the first Commissioner-General of the Metropolitan Police Bureau in Thailand). When His Royal Highness Prince Kamrob passed away in 1939, it was passed on to his heirs until there was no successor, and he was then leased for use.
Currently, PTT Group has preserved Ban Chao Phraya as a venue for exhibitions of works that won awards in art competitions. and used as an exhibition space for famous artists
