Mallika City R.S. 124 is a cultural tourist attraction located in Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province. It recreates the lifestyle of Siamese people in the Chao Phraya River basin during the late reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), a period of great cultural change in Thailand.
Upon entering through the tall wall gate, you will find realistic architecture from the reign of Rama V. You will pass by nearly 400 Siamese people dressed in traditional attire, who greet you with "Chao Kha" and "Khor Rap," creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. You will witness the trade of Siamese people in the past, their social life, and the arts that flourished in the era after the abolition of slavery. You'll get to enjoy a variety of authentic Thai dishes, such as Khanom Saneh Chan, Khanom Cha Mongkut, Khanom Thong Ek, Khanom Yok Manee, Khanom Bulandan Mek, Khanom Chan, Khanom Thua Fu, Thai Khanom Jeeb, Khanom Nam Dok Mai, Khanom Rerai, Khanom Piak Poon, Khanom Kai Pla, Khanom Tom Khao, Khanom Tom Daeng, and many more. Mallika City will make you forget all about imagination, because it's the most realistic experience.
Interesting Activities
Dressing in Thai Costume: Visitors can rent traditional Thai costumes with a sash or lace blouse and a sarong to stroll around the city and immerse themselves in the atmosphere. (Rental services for men's, women's, and children's costumes are available.)
Using Rupiah Currency: Inside the city, you will use replica currency called "Rupiah" to purchase food, snacks, and souvenirs. You must exchange money at the gate before entering the city.
Four Types of Traditional Thai Houses: These houses reflect the social classes of the time and are on display: single house (commoner), wealthy merchant's house (wealthy individuals), cluster house (guest house), and floating house (riverside trading area).
Traditional Trading Area (Saphan Han): A replica of a wooden bridge lined with shops selling rare traditional Thai sweets, local food, and various handmade goods.
Traditional Performances and Handicrafts: Demonstrations of rice farming, rice milling, fruit carving, and garland making are available, along with scheduled Thai cultural performances.

Opening Hours: Open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Admission Fee: Options include entrance-only tickets or tickets including dinner. (Dinner and entertainment)
Location: Next to Bangchak gas station on Highway 323 (towards Sai Yok Noi Waterfall), Sing Subdistrict, Sai Yok District.
