Phra That Sri Song Rak (Phra That Sri Song Rak) is a friendly place between Siam and Lan Xang | Loei
The pagoda is a brick and mortar pagoda, similar in shape to Phra That Phanom. The requirement to enter to pay homage to the pagoda is to refrain from wearing red clothing. It is located in Dan Sai District. It is important in terms of history, arts, culture, and the spirit of Thai and Lao people.
Phra That Si Song Rak
Built in 2103 (Ayutthaya period) by two kings:
Somdet Phra Maha Chakkraphat of Ayutthaya
Phra Chai Setthathirat of Lan Xang
To symbolize friendship and cooperation in resisting common enemies
Characteristics of the pagoda:
A Lao-style pagoda, white in color, with simple but elegant architecture, approximately 20 meters high
Local beliefs:
It is a sacred place. Do not wear red clothing into the pagoda area because the color red is considered inappropriate (there is a legend that it is related to blood). Used to pray for love, friendship, and peace

Phra That Si Song Rak worship festival Held on the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 6th month of every year
