Location details
Phu Sing Dharma Square (Lan Tham Phu Sing), Khok Kong Subdistrict | Bueng Kan
Phu Sing Dharma Square is a spacious area featuring a massive red sandstone formation that resembles a crouching lion—majestic and imposing—which is the origin of the name "Phu Sing" (Lion Mountain). The square houses "Luang Pho Phra Sing," a medium-sized, brilliant golden Buddha image that visitors can pay their respects to. It also serves as a venue for Dhamma practice and annual religious activities. To the east, there is a scenic viewpoint offering a breathtaking panorama of the Mekong River, stretching as far as the eye can see toward the Lao border. It is truly a must-visit destination when traveling to Bueng Kan Province.
