Bang Lamphu Museum of life of the Bang Lamphu community | Bangkok
It is an old community that has been famous for a long time since the parents' generation, especially being a center of various exquisite craftsmanship and an important trading center in the past.
In the past, this museum area was the house of the Director-General of the Treasury Department during the reign of King Rama V, named "Phraya Naranat Phakdi Si Ratsadakorn". Later, it was transformed into various units, such as a place to store goods, sell textbooks, Wat Sangwet Printing School, and the Kurusapa Printing House. Until now, it is used as a royal property that displays information about the missions of the Treasury Department, including important historical developments of the Bang Lamphu community from the beginning of the Rattanakosin era to the present.
Admission fee: Adults 30 baht/person, children aged 10 - 18 years
Price 10 baht/person (Thais and foreigners pay the same admission fee), except for children under 10 years old, Thai senior citizens aged 60 years and over, monks of all religions, all types of disabled persons, and individuals or groups who request special permission to visit. Free Admission
Open: Tuesday - Friday from 08.30 - 16.30 (Last admission at 15.00)
And Saturday - Sunday from 10.00 - 18.00 (Last admission at 16.00)
Open for admission in rounds of half an hour (Closed every Monday, New Year's Day and Songkran Day)
