Korat Geopark is located in the Lam Takhong River Basin, covering a total area of 5 districts. It has the landscape of Cuesta Mountain (Khao Rup Ito) and fossils from 3 eras that are uniquely outstanding (Cuesta & Fossil Land) and are connected to the dry dipterocarp forest ecosystem, dry evergreen forest, and people's way of life for over 4,000 years.
