Khao Ngu Stone Park, Photharam District | Ratchaburi Province

Religious sites related to Buddhism Inside the cave, there are Buddha images carved on the walls of the cave, Phra Phuttha Chai Tham Rishi Khao Ngu, a seated Buddha image with dangling feet, preaching a sermon in the Dvaravati style (11th-13th Buddhist centuries). The face is flat, the eyebrows are raised and curved like a crow's wing, the hair is folded large, and the halo is in the shape of a lotus bud. Between the joints of the feet is an inscription in Pallava Sanskrit, which reads Punyakarmacharasri Samadhikupta, meaning Phra Sri Samadhikupta is pure by making merit. This is considered another important trace of Dvaravati art. Inside the cave, there are many sandstone Buddha images in the Ayutthaya style.

At Khao Ngu Stone Park, there are interesting places, such as the Buddha's footprint made of laterite enshrined in the temple. It is located on the top of Khao Ngu Mountain, approximately 128 meters high. It is the remains of a rectangular brick and mortar building. Tham Fa Tho is approximately 250 meters west of Tham Rishi Khao Ngu. There are carvings on the southern wall.
