Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat is a monastery located opposite Lopburi Railway Station. It is an old temple with no clear evidence of its construction, but it has been renovated many times during the Ayutthaya period. This temple has the largest prang in Lopburi and a royal chapel that combines Khmer, Lavo, Ayutthaya, and Western styles. Inside, there are still many important ancient sites, such as the Sala Plieng Khrueang, the prang, and the ordination hall.
