Wat Arun Thammastan is located on the summit of Khao Chong Lom, Ban Phu Song Chan, Tambon Kao Ya Dee, Amphoe Kaeng Khro, Chaiyaphum Province, along the route to Mor Hin Khao and Tat Ton Waterfall. This temple was built in 2007 on a total area of ​​60 rai (approximately 24 acres) by Phra Thammasirichai, the 13th abbot of Wat Arun Ratchawararam. Its peaceful and serene atmosphere attracts many Buddhists who come to make merit.
The Chaiyaphum Pagoda at Wat Arun Thammastan enshrines five Buddha images. This sacred pagoda, a landmark of Chaiyaphum, sits on a high hill of Phu Laen Kha, offering panoramic views. A monument to Phraya Phakdi Chumphon, the founder of Chaiyaphum, is located below. The temple is built in the ancient Lanna style, featuring artwork adorning the pagoda.
The Phra Maha That Ratchamongkol Chedi Siri Chaiyaphum, or Chaiyaphum Pagoda, is an important Buddhist site. The pagoda features a blend of Lan Xang and Lanna architectural styles. The white structure stands 21 meters tall and has niches enshrining Buddha images on all four sides. The top of the pagoda is covered in gold leaf and gilded with gold leaf in the Lanna style, creating a majestic and prominent landmark in the center of the temple.
