พาไหว้พระ วัดสร่างโศก บางบ่อ (จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ) Take a pilgrimage to Wat Srangsok, Bang Bo (Samut Prakan Province) "Wat Srangsok" is an ancient Mon temple made of teak wood, over 200 years old. Wat Srangsok was built around 2300 B.E. There is no evidence of who built it. It was completely renovated in 2360 B.E. According to the evidence of the Land Department, map 41, it is named "Wat Pak Ao", but the villagers call it "Mon Temple" because it is near the Mon Canal as shown in the map and there are many Mon villagers living in this area. However, from the stories passed down, some say it is called "Wat Atthawara Ram" because there are 8 huts, while others call it "Wat Atsawara Ram".
The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall: The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall of Wat Srangsok is a beautiful and peaceful image of the Buddha in the Mara-Vijaya attitude. The ordination hall where the principal Buddha image is enshrined is decorated with delicate and beautiful patterns, which are unique to Mon art. The Golden Buddha Image: Another important Buddha image of the temple is the golden Buddha image in the chapel. It is a beautiful Buddha image and is a place of worship for visitors to the temple.
