Wat Saman Rattanaram is located between Bang Khla and Khlong Khuen districts on the banks of the Bang Pakong River in Chachoengsao Province. It is said that Khun Saman Chin Pracha (formerly named Jai Suebsaman) was a wealthy man who was well-off and respected by the general public.
Lord Ganesha is the god of knowledge and success in education, career, finance, love, and eliminating obstacles and suffering or solving various problems. Inside Wat Saman Rattanaram is the largest reclining Ganesha statue in Thailand. It is pink and measures 16 meters in height and 14 meters in width. It is exquisitely beautiful and is a place of worship for the general public. Around the base are 32 different Ganesha statues.
