How to get there: book a taxi through the hotel or talk to the tuktuk guys outside to hello you find a driver to spend the day there with you. It's about 1.5 hours from Bangkok and you can do the Floating market too.
railway market: trains come in on a schedule , best time is 15:30or 5:40 to watch pass through the market.
Experience the energy of the vendors at the Maeklong railway and the bustling Amphawa Floating Market on this tour from Bangkok. End the day with a magical boat tour to an area with fireflies.
Amphawa Floating Market
After Damnoen Saduak, Amphawa floating market is the second most well-known floating market; that is reachable from Bangkok center within 1.5 hours by car. The distance is approximately 50 km but sometimes it can take up to 3 hours to get there due to traffic jam. Amphawa is not as big as Damnoen Saduak Floating Market; yet personally, I find it more authentic and less commercial. There is an important note that you should keep in mind while designing your itinerary, Amphawa is only opened during weekends, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from noon until evening.
