Nong Buak Haad Public Park | Chiang Mai
Nong Buak Haad is a top-ranked public park among Chiang Mai residents and is usually one of the first places that comes to mind. It is an ideal spot for families to engage in activities together. The park features exercise equipment and a playground with a sand surface to cushion children in case of falls. There are pathways suitable for walking or running, a *takraw* court, and ample open space for various activities.
Nong Buak Haad Public Park is the only public park managed by the Chiang Mai Municipality located in the city center, near the Ku Heuang Corner (Jaeng Ku Heuang). It was established by the municipality as a recreational area for the public. Although originally named "Nong Buak Haad," it is commonly referred to simply as "Suan Buak Haad" (Buak Haad Park) and is well-known among both Thai and international tourists.
