A beautiful temple offering a peaceful atmosphere and numerous scenic spots to explore. Visitors can admire the magnificent Naga statue and intricate mosaic artwork.
Historically, the area was home to Wat Thai Ao and Wat Choeng Tha (located on the east bank of the river) during the mid-Ayutthaya period. However, as these temples eventually lacked resident monks, they fell into disuse.
Originally, the site did not bear the name "Wat Choeng Len." In 1907, Mr. Iam and Mrs. Phon Aodaeng donated the land for the temple. It subsequently underwent renovations, transforming the traditional monastic living quarters into a *Panya*-style (hipped-roof) structure, with patronage provided by the Numthai family.
