This is a large island located just a short distance from the mainland. The island is rich in natural diversity, featuring lush green landscapes and rice fields, alongside stunning sea views.
The name "Koh Sukorn" (Pig Island) has interesting origins. While there are no pigs on the island today, local lore suggests that wild boars once inhabited the area in large numbers. When Muslim fishermen settled on the island, they drove the boars away. Additionally, mainlanders reportedly saw herds of wild boars swimming in the water, leading to the name "Pig Island."
