Tai Rom Yen National Park is a haven for nature lovers, featuring a rich diversity of flora within its boundaries. The area preserves a lush rainforest ecosystem home to significant tree species such as Yang (Dipterocarpus), Takian (Hopea odorata), Lumpho (Intsia palembanica), Khiam (Cotylelobium melanoxylon), and Sato (Parkia speciosa). The park is characterized by mountain peaks often shrouded in mist, making it a destination suitable for tourism throughout the year.
The park’s territory spans the districts of Kanchanadit, Ban Na San, and Wiang Sa in Surat Thani Province. It was officially designated as the country's 73rd national park on December 31, 1991.
