Si Khotrabun Golden Sand Beach, or the Mekong River Sand Beach, is a natural phenomenon visible only during February-May each year. When the water level in the Mekong River drops, a beautiful sand beach stretches for several kilometers in the middle of the river.
Si Khotrabun Golden Sand Beach, a hidden gem in Nakhon Phanom, is an unseen tourist attraction along the Mekong River where tourists and locals enjoy strolling, taking photos, admiring the scenery, and experiencing the Mekong riverside lifestyle during the dry season.
"Sai Thai Mueang" (meaning "Sai Thai Mueang Beach") is a large sandbar that emerges in the middle of the Mekong River during the dry season (approximately January to May each year).
