The National Library Building, Nakhon Phanom, was originally the Nakhon Phanom City Hall building. Built in 1915 during the reign of Phra Wichit Khun San. (later Phraya Phanom Nakharanurak) the first governor of Nakhon Phanom Province and coincided with the reign of King Rama V
It is a 3-story building, 12 meters wide, 36 meters long, with a total area of 2,504 square meters. It has a mix of Thai and European architectural styles.
Built with bricks and plaster. The floor and stairs are wooden. The original building was yellow. When it was renovated in 1991, it was changed to white throughout, and in 1997
the building color was changed to yellow, following the original building design until now
