Tham Din Phiang Cave, Pha Tang Subdistrict, Sangkhom District | Nong Khai
As a city of the Naga, we had to check in at Tham Din Phiang Cave, or what the locals call the Naga Cave, located in Wat Tham Sri Mongkol. The cave is characterized by its numerous interconnected chambers. Inside, stalactites and stalagmites are scattered throughout, along with rock formations.
The passageways inside the cave are a mix of small and large openings, passing through beautifully curved rock formations, but mostly quite narrow. In some spots, you even have to crawl! It's also quite damp, but there's lighting along the way, with some areas illuminated with colorful lights, making for stunning photos. The walk inside the cave takes approximately 15-30 minutes. It's truly a beautiful and wondrous natural wonder.
