Ngam Islands, a sea tourist destination | Chumphon

One of the most beautiful island groups in Chumphon Sea, a top destination for divers.
It consists of Koh Ngam Yai, Koh Ngam Noi, Koh Lak Ngam, and Hin Lak Ngam, and is part of the Chumphon Islands National Park. Its highlights include black coral, rarely seen at other diving spots in the Chumphon Islands, and remarkably beautiful and abundant sea anemones.
The Ngam Islands in Chumphon Province are a very famous and beautiful snorkeling and diving spot in the Gulf of Thailand. Comprising Koh Ngam Yai, Koh Ngam Noi, and underwater rock formations, the area is known for its black coral, sea anemones, and schools of large fish. Located approximately 15-20 kilometers from the shore, the best time to visit is from November to May.
• Koh Ngam Yai: A bird's nest concession island with no sandy beaches. Its highlight is the "Buddha's Hand," a tall cliff with a crack resembling a finger, and small underwater caves.
• Koh Ngam Noi: A rocky outcrop in the middle of the sea with no place to walk on it. It's a popular spot for diving to see abundant coral and schools of fish.
• Hin Lak Ngam (Hin Pae): An underwater rock formation that is a popular deep diving spot.
-Travel and Best Time to Visit: The best time is from November to May, because the sea is calm and the water is clear.
-Transportation: Take a longtail boat or speedboat from the mainland (e.g., Thung Wua Laen Beach). Or the pier in Pathio District) The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
