The Windmill Viewpoint, Koh Lan, Pattaya | Chonburi
The Windmill Viewpoint is one of the interesting viewpoints on Koh Lan, offering beautiful scenery lined with numerous windmills used to generate electricity for the island.
There are three main viewpoints on Koh Lan:
1. The Windmill Viewpoint (180-degree panoramic view)
2. Wat Saen Lan Viewpoint (clear view of Ta Waen Beach) and
3. Pha Na Yak (natural viewpoint overlooking Ao Saem Bay)
The Windmill Viewpoint: The highest point on the island, offering a 360-degree view of the sea and various beaches. The ascent is quite steep and requires skilled driving.
There are two ways to get to Koh Lan: by ferry and by speedboat. The ferry can accommodate approximately 200 people and costs 30 baht per person per trip.
The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. As for the speedboat, it can accommodate 12 people and the cost is a flat rate per trip. The journey takes 15 minutes.
