History of Chao Samran Beach: Chao Samran Beach, located in Hat Chao Samran Subdistrict, Mueang Phetchaburi District, Phetchaburi Province, is a popular tourist destination for relaxation. This beach has been a major tourist attraction since ancient times. According to legend, King Naresuan the Great visited the beach with King Ekathotsarot and was so captivated by its beauty that he stayed there for several days, leading the locals to call it "Hat Chao Samran."
King Rama VI also commissioned the construction of a royal camp, known as Bang Thalu Royal Camp, after the Bang Thalu subdistrict where it was located. The beach houses a palace called Chao Samran Beach Palace was later renamed the subdistrict.
