Ajahn Fan Acharo Museum Wat Pa Udomsomporn | Sakon Nakhon
The Ajahn Fan Ajaro Museum, located at Wat Pa Udomsomporn, houses a life-size statue of Ajahn Fan. Ajahn Fan, a renowned Vipassana meditation master, once resided at this forest temple.
The front of the statue is decorated with offerings and a glass cabinet containing his ashes. The surrounding walls are lined with glass cabinets displaying his personal belongings and his history from birth to death.

Building Features: A strikingly beautiful three-tiered, round-based pagoda with lotus petals. The exterior walls are intricately carved in bas-relief. Exhibits Inside:

Getting there:
From Sakon Nakhon city, take Highway 22 (Sakon Nakhon-Udon Thani) towards Phanna Nikhom District, a distance of approximately 37 kilometers.
When you reach Phanna Nikhom District, turn right at the district office (passing Phra Ajahn Fan Acharo Hospital) and drive straight for another 2-3 kilometers. You will find the entrance to Wat Pa Udomsomporn and the museum in front.
