Wat Phra That Chedi Chum Worawihan | Sakon Nakhon Province

Pay homage to Luang Por Ong Saen at Wat Phra That Choeng Chum Worawihan, the sacred Buddha image of Sakon Nakhon. The temple's highlight is Phra That Choeng Chum, built over the footprints of four Buddhas who once resided there. This is where the name "Choeng Chum," meaning "the gathering of Buddha footprints," comes from. The chedi is a brick and mortar chedi approximately 24 meters high, with a square base and a beautiful lotus-shaped spire.
