This sacred temple, a symbol of the city with a history spanning over 100 years, is located in the heart of Mukdahan on the banks of the Mekong River. Inside, you'll find numerous precious historical sites, including the ancient Isan sim (church), built in 1916. Its architectural style blends Western, Thai, Vietnamese, and French styles. The interior walls on three sides feature rare murals depicting the Vessantara Jataka by local craftsmen. There's also an ancient kuti built in the French style by Vietnamese craftsmen. It currently serves as a public library, offering educational opportunities.
