Khao Ngam Thai Buffalo Conservation Center | Sing Buri
Water buffalo have long been a symbol of Thai agriculture, and a means of transport for battle, as evidenced by the story of Bang Rachan village, where Mr. Thongmen, a Bang Rachan villager, rode a buffalo during the war between Ayutthaya and Burma. For this reason, the "Thai Khao Ngam Buffalo Conservation Center" was established to care for and preserve buffalo from Thailand, preventing its disappearance as modern machinery replaces the close relationship between buffalo and farmers.
The center is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
