Namtok Ngao National Park (Namtok Ngao) Mueang District | Ranong Province
The 93rd national park in the country, covering Mueang District, La-un District, Ranong Province and Phato District, Thung Tako District, Lang Suan District, Chumphon Province. The terrain is mostly a complex mountain range, stretching between the two provinces. There is Khao Nom Sao Ridge, approximately 1,089 meters above mean sea level, which is the border between Ranong and Chumphon Provinces. Interesting tourist attractions include Ngao Waterfall, a large waterfall with a stream flowing down a steep cliff that can be seen from a distance. During the rainy season, it is a beautiful white curtain of water surrounded by green trees, Khlong Phrao Waterfall, a large waterfall with water flowing all year round, and Parang Hot Springs.
