Baan Dam Museum Nang Lae, Mueang District | Chiang Rai

The works of Professor Thawan Duchanee, National Artist in Visual Arts (Painting), consist of more than 36 northern local architectural buildings and many applied local architectural buildings that display folk art, which are the creative works of local craftsmen from the past to the present. All are painted black. Each building is decorated with beautiful wood carvings.
Inside, there are 36 houses. Some houses can be visited, while some cannot be visited. It is a place to display art works, both paintings, sculptures, and a painting gallery by the late Professor Thawan Duchanee.
